Promote an Item

Soap Action: ApplyItem or ApplyAML

To execute this action, you can use any of the following APIs:

  • Aras.IOM.Innovator.ApplyAML()
  • Aras.IOM.Item.Apply()
  • Aras.IOM.IServerConnection.CallAction()

Input Structure:

  <Item type="{Item Type}" action="promoteItem" id="{ID of Item}">
    <state>{Name of the new state}</state>
    <comments>{Additional comments to store in history.  Optional.}</comments>
  </Item>
</AML>

 

Example (Input):

  <Item type="Sourcing List" action="promoteItem" id="F0DA7AC31E3341B0B033F0ABF2B807EB">
    <state>Evaluating</state>
    <comments>Some comments</comments>
  </Item>
</AML>
